Overtime is a movie which advocates the realities of life. It shows the shortcut methods which are easy and people are able to achieve what they desire in life not to fullest. The present days are when the people are looking for all the shortcuts and try to gain most out of life.

Overtime is a movie about the desirous people who are looking for most out of life and they are trying all the methods which they think are easy to achieve their goals.

Overtime is a story about a girl–Khushi (Swati Sharma)–who dreams to be a heroine in Bollywood. She is a high profile call girl who is having all the links in the dream city—Mumbai. Her life is all around the corrupt people of the city, be it politician, builders, architects, people of film industry, etc.

Aatre (Satish Kaushik) is a corrupt politician who is also having desires and thus he is utilizing his power to the best for his self appraisal. Huda (Yashpal Sharma) happens to be a builder who has been changing the face of Mumbai map rising high building and has been using his contacts to fulfill his selfish motives. Huda has a beautiful secretary Liza (Aarzoo Govitrikar) who is to the brim filled with ambition and does not miss a single chance to take the advantage of the time to her fulfillment. Rajeev (Zakir Hussain) is an architect. His weakness is women and his lustful life has all the desires to have the best female in town to his bed. The film coordinator Shankar (Vijay Rai) is a person who takes advantage of all the possible time and desires of the people and thus he is turning the time to his favour not much but a bit is also too much for him. Among all these corrupt and selfish people, Khushi is struggling to achieve her dreams and is steadily progressing towards her target to become a heroine. This is all about the journey of different people who are taking the best out of the available time which has been portrayed in Overtime.
